On the way to Austria, I stopped in Szentendre, Hungary. Roughly 45 minutes from Budapest, Szentendre or Saint Andrew, is a charming, artsy town along the Danube River. I simply adored the cobbled streets, colorful buildings, and array of museums and galleries. The main square is known for its art installations and I was lucky enough to visit while a rainbow of lampshades, celebrating the end of winter, hung above our heads.

We were able to grab a quick bite to eat, so you know what that means… more goulash!

Fun fact: the Netflix series The Witcher filed scenes in this town.

If you get the chance, I highly recommend visiting Szentendre. It is definitely worth it.
