Well Snicks, I’m back it again. It’s been a minute since I’ve traveled internationally. To say I am anxious is an understatement. I booked this trip nearly 2 years ago: pre-pandemic and had to reschedule it multiple times. It has gone through numerous iterations: Germany, Switzerland, Belgium; Paris; Iceland. Ultimately, I booked a tour of Paris with GoAhead Tours and a trip on my own to Switzerland to visit some great friends living there.

As this trip got closer, I even thought of flat out canceling it. I just didn’t know if I was ready to get out there again, especially with this new Delta variant. After a lot of conversations, research, and inner reflection I ultimately decided to rip the bandaid off and trust. Trust that I would and could keep myself safe and trust that others would follow proper safety protocols and precautions.

If not now, when? I may never feel fully comfortable but I won’t get there staying home. I had like 1829171091 masks with me, lysol wipes, and hand sanitizer. I’m stocked and stoked!

Switzerland, here I come!
