Ever since I briefly visited Paris last year, I dreamed of going back. When I heard that on the 14th of July there was an amazing fireworks show at the Eiffel Tower, I knew that my next visit to Paris would be to experience that spectacle.

This trip was to be my first truly solo trip. No friends joining me, no tour group, just a girl and a dream!

I planned and prepped for months until I had the perfect itinerary. A few days in Paris, culminating with the joyous la fete nationale (AKA Bastille Day). Next, a trip on the EuroStar into London for a few days, and then hopping on the train and visiting Liverpool, and York before exploring Scotland for the first time!
